Dana, Jordan

2013

The ancient village of Dana sits at the top of a valley with 1500m cliffs cut into the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The valley seems to collect any passing weather system and so is lush with an ever changing light. When the mists and dust rolls back, you can see over the planes of Sodom and Gomorrah and into Israel.
