The landscape echoes deep inside us. Memories and ancient patterns merge into our beings as stories as old as the hills play out in our dreams and imaginations. All leading us to somewhere else. To different ways to live in this world.

These paintings emerged out of making marks on the canvas and seeing where that went. Initially these were very abstract gestures, but after a few hours or weeks of work these images emerged and crystallised into these paintings.
