In “Early British Trackways” Mr. Alfred Watkins presents very attractively a new theory of a system of sighting points, natural and artificial, in connection with moats, mounds, camps, and sites. The illustrations, as might be expected from a great photographic expert, are very fine. This is a most interesting and suggestive little book worthy of careful consideration. It might well add interest and enjoyment to a country holiday to experiment along the lines suggested by Mr. Watkins. (Simpkin, Marshall, 4s. 6d.)
