Sir,—Do we fail to derive as much benefit as possible from our holidays through lack of originality?
Easter this year will see the usual influx of visitors at all the best-known pleasure resorts, with the customary congestion at these places—not to mention the overcrowding of trains, which must considerably mar the rest and change that people hope to enjoy.
Why do we not set out to discover for ourselves the simpler and yet superior delights of thousands of charming spots all
over the country? Just get an ordnance map, study for a few minutes the lay of the land, and choose a likely place
either at the seaside or inland. Make it your Easter objective, and you will not be disappointed.
