Mr. Alfred Watkins has completed (pending arrangement with a publisher) a new book with this title. His previous booklet, “Early British Trackways,” issued three years ago, attracted some interest and its—sic: ‘thesis’ or similar word missing?straight tracks in pre-Roman Britain, sighted over mounds, moats and mark points—has been confirmed by a number of other observers in all parts of England. In this three years he has secured a large amount of new and pictorial illustration proof which he now records. The plan revealed throws a new light on early beacons, sun worship, and sites of temples, churches and castles.
