Notes and Queries

The Property Services agency, owner of the New Tube Shelters under London has refused the editor permission to visit one of these on the grounds of cost.  These shelters, of great antiquarian interest, were built 1940–42 but are still maintained by the contractors Mott, Hay and Anderson.  Details in Tunnels Under London – Fenris-Wolf 65p.

Notes and Queries is a new section of Ancient Mysteries in which small snippets, queries, and observations will be recorded for the interest of readers.  Any notes etc., please, to the editor.

Forthcoming in future issues of ANCIENT MYSTERIES will be the results of Nigel Pennick’s researches into modern geomancy: Sir Edward Maufe’s work; the Falangist geomancy of Generalissimo Franco, and aspects of Nazi geomancy; more works by lost and obscure authors; translations of rare foreign geomantic work, and of course the latest in modern research.
