Michael Grant's Family Tree: The Anker/Goldberg Families

The Anker family is a Levite one.

These families were already established in England when my other ancestors came over in the 1880s, 1890s and 1900s. Rose Pearlman said she believed Lena and Myer Goldberg came originally from Russia; and that Jacob Anker's family came over from Hanover when he was a baby (i.e. the early 1850s).

Her tombstone appears to say died 3rd December 1889 10 Kislev 5649, but this is
10 Kislev 5650! Yet 3 December 1888 is 29 Kislev! And in Hebrew it says 5640,
yet that's the 18th!
